DOCTOR OF MINISTRY (D.MIN.)
Students who want to continue their academic journey toward doctoral studies must meet certain technical and academic requirements to enroll in an online course. Technically, students need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with updated software, and access to essential applications such as word processors and PDF readers. Additionally, familiarity with online learning platforms and basic digital literacy skills are essential for navigating course materials and participating in virtual discussions. Academically, students should possess the necessary prerequisites for the specific course, including prior coursework or relevant experience. Commitment to self-discipline, time management, and active engagement in online activities are crucial for completing the course.
Admission Requirements (D.MIN.)
A completed application form
A $45 nonrefundable application fee
Master’s Degree (M.Div./MA in Religion Studies) from an accredited institution.
Experience – three or more years as a pastor or leader in other capacities related to applying denominational tenets.
Other – graduate credentials and experience that would indicate a high probability of successfully completing the program.
Essay – Statement of Purpose (minimum 500 and maximum 800 words).
Letters of recommendation – Church or denomination, former professor, and character reference/layperson.
Qualifications for Transfer Students
A completed application form
A $45 nonrefundable application fee
Present or prior enrollment in a parallel accredited program.
A minimum grade of B is required for transferred courses.
A maximum of 18 credit hours accepted via transfer.
Courses taken more than ten years prior to enrollment will not be considered for transfer.
